Update from the Pride in Penrith Lottery AGM

Update from our AGM

At our AGM in October, Rob Udale, who has been in the post of Chair for over four years stepped down, but will remain on the board as Treasurer.  Rob handed over the reins to Peter Ward who thanked Rob – as a founding board member – for several years of hard work at the helm.

The board reported that over the last year, the lottery had granted over £20,000 to assist 13 groups including sports clubs, local festivals, children's organisations, musical groups and environmental events.  The board were encouraged by the number of applications they received and organisations they had helped, and pledged to provide even more support and assistance to the local community.

The meeting heard that during the previous financial year (to end July 2017), we gave away £6,900 in prizes – including one jackpot award of £5,000, and another of £500.  Over the year 70 lucky people matched 3 numbers to win £20.
