In early November we attended the official opening of a fabulous new play area in Carleton Park.

We were delighted to contribute just over £1,225 to Carleton Park Development Group, to help them to increase the range of play equipment for all ages from toddlers to teens, and also ensure it was accessible all year round by laying tarmac paths.

Our board member, Richard Utting, who attended the official opening, said "I was delighted to be there to see the play area opened and the first children playing on the new equipment.  Hopefully many children will be able to enjoy it for years to come.  Well done to the development group for all of their hard work in securing funding, I know they are really pleased to see this project completed and children enjoying the new facilities."

We also supported Cumbria Action for Sustainability with £950 towards their annual Cumbria Green Build Festival back in September; helped the Winter Droving in October to the tune of £3,000 and also granted £750 to Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce for their Christmas Brochure.
