Countdown on to find our first £5,000 winner!

Countdown on to find our first £5,000 winner!

One lucky person in the local area will have a fantastic start to 2012 as the Pride in Penrith Lottery team prepares to draw the £5,000 Jackpot on the 11th January.

Since launching, the jackpot has only been won twice before, with the biggest prize of £3,200 scooped in early 2011.  The jackpot starts at £500 and the Lottery is drawn each week until a winner is found, however once the fund reaches £5,000 a winner must be drawn!

The Pride in Penrith Lottery was set up and run by volunteers with the objective of raising money to improve the town, ensure local events continue to take place, help local good causes and ensuring the community spirit of Penrith continues to thrive.  The Lottery gives local people the opportunity to contribute to the town's well being and since its launch over £7,000 has been donated to good causes.

There is still time to enter the Pride in Penrith Lottery to be in with the chance of winning £5,000 to kick start the New Year.  To play the Lottery people can download a form online, or visit one of the sales agents in town to register.  The current sales agents are Arragons Newsagents, The Corner Shop, Ullswater Road garage and Davidsons Garage.  People will also soon be able to play online via the Pride in Penrith website.

The Pride in Penrith Lottery is a not-for-profit organisation and is run by volunteers from the town who are all passionate about making a difference to the local area and raising money for good causes.
